Cultus Lake Sewer Treatment Plant - Referendum Results

Resident electors in the North Cultus Sewer System Service Area have voted in favour of borrowing up to $6.5 million for the construction of a new sewage treatment plant. The official results show a total of 158 ballots cast, with 111 voting in favour of the project (70.25%) with 47 opposed (29.75%). The proposed project will replace the existing sewage system in Cultus Lake with a new Class A+ sewage treatment plant, reducing environmental impacts.
