August 29 - ISLAND 22 REGIONAL PARK: AT CAPACITY THIS LONG WEEKEND
Island 22 Regional Park is experiencing record setting visitors. Throughout the Labour Day long weekend, the Park is hosting an equestrian event and the sockeye opening (boat launch), which has resulted in the Park reaching its full capacity. Please be advised that at peak times we are anticipating limited or no parking availability.

On time and on budget, after 17-months of construction, the North Cultus Wastewater Treatment Plant is operational and actively protecting the Cultus Lake watershed.
August 27 - CANCELLATION – Air Quality Advisory
The Air Quality Advisory for ground-level ozone for the Fraser Valley Regional District and Metro Vancouver that has been in effect since August 26, 2025 has been cancelled. Air quality has improved due to a change in weather and cooler temperatures.
August 26 - Ground Level Ozone – Air Quality Advisory
Air Quality Advisory has been issued for Central Fraser Valley/Eastern Fraser Valley because of high concentrations of ground-level ozone (smog).
