Hillkeep Regional Park

Located high atop Chilliwack Mountain, this 36-acre nature reserve gives city dwellers a chance to enjoy nature right on their doorstep.

A generous donation of land from local residents Pat and Paige Woodward, and an ongoing working partnership with the City of Chilliwack has made it possible to create this haven in the heart of the city.

Hillkeep Regional Park is a photographer's dream offering excellent opportunities for both nature and scenic photography. The park teems with a wide variety of birds, mammals, insects, and plants. It is our goal to preserve this natural habitat while still offering passive recreational opportunities.

The trail system is comprised of approximately two kilometres of moderately easy walking trails that meander through a natural woodland environment. There is also a short, but steep, trail up to a lookout platform cantilevered over the south side of the mountain. From here you can enjoy sweeping views of the valley floor below and the Cascade Mountain range in the distance.
