New volunteer fire chief for Chilliwack River Valley VFD

The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Danyluk to the role of Volunteer Fire Chief of the Chilliwack River Valley Volunteer Fire Department.

In this role, Volunteer Chief Danyluk will lead a dedicated team of 21 volunteer firefighters in providing fire suppression and emergency services in the Chilliwack River Valley.

"We’re very pleased to have Volunteer Chief Danyluk take on this important role," says FVRD Manager of Electoral Area Emergency Services, Chris Wilson. "Danyluk brings a solid record of volunteer firefighting experience, energy and a commitment to working together with the FVRD to ensure the safety of our Chilliwack River Valley Volunteer Firefighters and the residents they serve."

Volunteer Chief Danyluk has been with the Chilliwack River Valley Volunteer Fire Department since 2007.
