September 22 - Fraser Valley Regional District and CUPE Local 458 Ratify New Collective Agreements
The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) and CUPE Local 458 have reached a new 3-year agreement with both of its bargaining units for Chilliwack and Hope (Recreation Group).
September 8 - CANCELLATION – Air Quality Warning
The Air Quality Warning for fine particulate matter for the Fraser Valley Regional District and Metro Vancouver that has been in effect since September 3, 2025 has been cancelled. Air quality has improved due to southerly winds bringing cleaner air into the region.
September 3 - Particulate Matter – Air Quality Warning
An Air Quality Warning has been issued for Central Fraser Valley, Eastern Fraser Valley, and Manning-Skagit Valley due to elevated fine particulate matter.

Throughout the Labour Day long weekend, the Park is hosting an equestrian event and the sockeye opening (boat launch), which has resulted in the Park reaching its full capacity.
