Puppy Six Pack

Project Puppy

On November 11, 2016 staff from the FVRD and the CARE Centre were alerted to a litter of newborn puppies, found orphaned in a rural area. Caring for six puppies around the clock became a real team effort, with staff volunteering to hand feed and foster these animals. It only seemed natural to make naming them a community effort too. Over 500 names were submitted and now Poppy, Piper, Winston, Bailey, Tank, and Sarge are on their way toward forever homes. Thank you to everyone who helped to make sure that this story had such a happy ending!
