Development Variance Permit

A Development Variance Permit (DVP) allows for the relaxation of certain FVRD zoning bylaw requirements, other than use or density, such as setbacks from a lot line.  Note that a DVP cannot change or vary permitted use, density or floodplain requirements.

Application Process:

  1. Submission of Application
  2. Application Review and Staff Report
  3. Electoral Area Services Committee Review
  4. Public Notification
  5. Regional Board Review
