Cultus Lake Integrated Water System

On May 14, 2016, residents of Cultus Lake Park passed a referendum approving the proposed Cultus Lake Integrated Water System.

The project is now underway. Phase 1 of construction is anticipated to be completed prior to April 2017. Phase 2 of construction will be complete in the fall of 2017. The FVRD is acting as the general contractor for this project and has brought on Yeoman Services Inc and Strohmaier’s Excavating Ltd to construct the system.

Engineering design services for this project are being provided by Onsite Engineering Ltd.

The design and construction of the new reservoir is being provided by H2Flow Tanks and Systems.

Fairfield Island Plumbing has been hired to retrofit existing homes with PRVs. The purpose of the PRV is to reduce the water pressure entering the home so that the internal plumbing and appliances are protected from the higher water pressure in the water main required for fire protection.
