Area C Fall Community Cleanup

Get rid of your extra junk free of charge at our upcoming cleanup event! There will be two extra garbage bins placed at the Harrison Mills Transfer Station on the following dates during regular opening hours (the bins will be removed when full):

  • Saturday, October 5
  • Sunday, October 6

The following items are PROHIBITED from the bin:

  • Drywall
  • Asbestos
  • Batteries
  • Dead Animals
  • Soil
  • Hazardous Chemicals
  • Recyclables

If you have old/broken electronics or appliances, please bring them to your closest depot for recycling.

The extra cleanup bin is for Electoral Area C residents ONLY. Household garbage will still be charged regularly and should not be placed in the cleanup bin.
