Public Notices
Public notices are used to facilitate transparency and accountability by informing the public of opportunities to share views and participate in local government decision-making. Public notices are published in advance of matters of public interest such as public meetings, elections, public hearings, and disposition of land.
The public notices are published in accordance with the Community Charter and the Local Government Act and will include information on how, when, and where the public can request further information and provide comments to the Fraser Valley Regional District Board.
As per the Fraser Valley Regional District Public Notice Bylaw No. 1741, 2024, the FVRD publishes notices to this webpage, the FVRD Facebook page, and post on the bulletin board located on the first floor of the FVRD Main Office at 1-45950 Cheam Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
