Live 5-2-1-0 Playboxes

Hope and Area Healthy Communities Committee, along with its partners, including the FVRD are committed to raising healthy children. To encourage families to be active, the committee has placed Live 5-2-1-0 Playboxes in Hope, Boston Bar, and Yale. These Playboxes have everything families need to play actively outside, including ideas for games and equipment to play.

Some of the equipment that can be found in the boxes include skipping ropes, hula hoops, frisbees, basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, badminton racquets and more!

Live 5-2-1-0 is an evidence-based campaign promoting simple guidelines for raising healthy children through healthy eating and active living. The campaign is a partnership between recreation, schools, childcare, healthcare and community organizations to change environments where children and families live, learn, work and play.
