Electoral Area C Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1619, 2020
We have been advised of an error when publishing one of the newspaper ads advertising this public hearing. The Local Government Act requires us to advertise public hearings in two consecutive issues of the same newspaper. As this did not happen, we are unable to meet the legal requirements for the Notice of Public Hearing and thus are unable to conduct the public hearing on this date. The public hearing has been rescheduled for February 24, 2021 at 7:00 pm.
We will still conduct a public information meeting on February 3, 2021 at 7:00 pm and are available to answer any questions you may have related to the bylaw detailed below.
The purpose of Bylaw #1619, 2020 is to amend Schedule C in Zoning Bylaw 100, restricting Temporary Tourist Accommodation in areas identified as being in the ‘Blue Zone’ in the 2020 Dynamic Avalanche Consulting Ltd. Hemlock Valley Snow Avalanche Assessment.
