Area C Official Community Plan Update

The FVRD is updating the Official Community Plan (OCP) for Electoral Area C. An OCP is a statement of objectives and policies that guide decisions for land use planning in a community. It reflects a community’s values and establishes a vision for future development, sustainability, and servicing.

Input from community members is a key part of the update process. We need your ideas to draft a new plan that captures a future vision for Area C communities for the next 20 years.

How Can you Be Involved?

Visit haveyoursay.fvrd.ca/areacocp and complete our survey by October 3.

We are gathering early feedback on:

• Community priorities
• Growth management and housing
• Impacts of tourism and short-term rentals
• Local servicing and infrastructure

Information collected through the survey will be used to identify priority areas and generate discussion at future community public meetings.
