FVRD Emergency Status Map Launches

December 18, 2025

The FVRD is thrilled to announce the launch of a new reporting tool to be used during emergencies.

The new easy-to-use tool allows residents and First Responders to help the FVRD track the incidents such as those caused by the recent atmospheric river events. The data collected will build an overall snapshot of the incidents during an emergency across the region.

The new online Emergency Status Map makes it easy to share information and photos. For every incident reported, FVRD staff will review and determine what needs attention, who is responsible, and next steps. The Emergency Status Map can be used on your smartphone or computer.

If you have incidents to report within the FVRD boundaries for the current emergency, visit the FVRD Emergency Status Map at https://maps.fvrd.ca/portal/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=1a9076fd58c64f1aaae7a4a935fc9837
