Evacuation Alert Upgraded to Order – South of Hells Gate to North of Alexandra Lodge

Whereas a state of local emergency was declared on July 4, 2026, by the Fraser Valley Regional District pursuant to Section 95 of the Emergency and Disaster Management Act due to the Brunswick Creek Complex (V10742), Ainslie Creek Wildfire (V10755) and V11090 wildfires within the jurisdiction of the Fraser Valley Regional District; and pursuant to Section 107 (1)(c) of the Emergency and Disaster Management Act;

The previously issued Evacuation Alert for the area south of Hells Gate to north of Alexandra Lodge has been upgraded to an Evacuation Order.  The previously issued Evacuation Order for Hells Gate remains in effect.  This Evacuation Order has been issued by the Fraser Valley Regional District due to increased wildfire behaviour.

YOU MUST LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY

A person must not enter the areas identified above and in the attached map for purposes of residing, occupying or visiting.

The previously issued Evacuation Alert for the Alexandra Lodge to the Alexandra Bridge area remains in effect.
