FVRD EOC UPDATE - MARCH 30, 2026
The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has returned to routine operations following the March 2026 Atmospheric River event.
As the EOC scales back operations, residents in Electoral Area E will continue to receive emergency communications through Alertable over the coming days. For the latest information, visit fvrd.ca/eoc.
“I extend my sincere appreciation to FVRD residents for their cooperation, preparations, and the way they looked out for each other during this weather event,” said Patricia Ross, FVRD Board Chair. “I also wish to thank our partners for their ongoing support and coordination for FVRD communities throughout the emergency response,” she said.
While imminent risks have subsided, the FVRD encourages residents and business owners to review the FVRD Hazard Report and Emergency Management Plan to prepare for future events. These resources outline the hazards that can affect our region and provide information to support emergency preparedness planning at home, at work, and in your community.

The FVRD’s eight electoral areas include all of the unincorporated communities on the north and south sides of the Fraser River, reaching up beyond the Nahatlatch River in the north and extending down to the U.S. border in the south. The FVRD is responsible for governance, administration and services for the eight electoral areas, each named separately by letters of the alphabet (A-H). Learn more about the FVRD at fvrd.ca.
