EVACUATION ORDERS:

Electoral Area A – Alexandra Lodge to Alexandra Bridge

Electoral Area B – Alexandra Bridge to Sawmill Creek

 

Whereas a state of local emergency was declared on July 4, 2026, for Electoral Area A and July 31, 2026, for Electoral Area B by the Fraser Valley Regional District pursuant to Section 95 of the Emergency and Disaster Management Act due to the Brunswick Creek Complex (V10742), and Ainslie Creek (V10755) Wildfires within the jurisdiction of the Fraser Valley Regional District; and pursuant to Section 107 (1)(c) of the Emergency and Disaster Management Act;

On the recommendation of BC Wildfire Service, the previously issued Evacuation Alert for the Alexandra Lodge to the Alexandra Bridge area has been upgraded to an EVACUATION ORDER.

The EVACUATION ORDER for Electoral Area B – Alexandra Bridge to Sawmill Creek has been issued by the Fraser Valley Regional District due to increased wildfire behaviour.

These EVACUATION ORDERS are in effect as of August 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

YOU MUST LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY

A person must not enter the areas identified in the EVACUATION ORDER and in the attached map for purposes of residing, occupying or visiting.
