TEMPORARY ACCESS PASS APPLICATIONS – Temporarily Suspended
Brunswick Complex Wildfire: Temporary Access Pass requests are currently suspended until further notice as per the direction from the Ministry of Transportation and Transit. The decision reflects the current public safety concerns and operational requirements associated with travel along Highway 1. The Ministry of Transportation and Transit makes decisions about highway closures, access, and is coordinating these with the FVRD and BC Wildfire Service during the Brunswick Complex Wildfire.
Once conditions allow future consideration of issuance of Temporary Access Passes will resume. Temporary Access Passes are discretionary and are assessed individually based on prevailing conditions.
The evacuation orders remain in effect, and all people should comply with its requirements. Please visit www.fvrd.ca/eoc for more information.
You are welcome to submit a request for a Temporary Access Pass however, it will be held until the approval process is started again. The FVRD thanks the public for their patience, cooperation, and understanding.
