NOTICE May 13, 2024:

  • Due to a recent fire to the outhouse facility, there are no public outhouse facilities available until further notice. Thank you for your understanding. Thacker Regional Park remains open to visitors.

Thacker Park is an 11-hectare park in Hope near Kawkawa Lake. One of the park's main attractions is the spawning and rearing channels for coho, pink and chum salmon. Beginning in September in even-numbered years and October in odd-numbered years, these salmon return to spawn in the park's spawning channels. A portion of the Trans-Canada Trail also runs through this park.
