FVRD encourages residents to sign up for public emergency notifications with Alertable. Sign up to receive emergency alerts by phone, text, email, and mobile app. Sign up for alerts in all ways you prefer to be informed. Look for Fraser Valley A – H and also follow our member municipalities to be informed about emergencies in other parts of the region where you live, work, and play.

Emergency Incident Updates

Below you’ll find key information about incidents where we have held a coordination role. Many incidents occur that do not rise to the level of impending threat to life and property. There are a number of active wildfires across the landscape in the FVRD electoral areas. Wildfires are a natural part of the environment and in most cases do not pose threat to people or property. When they do create risk to communities and properties, FVRD is notified by the BC Wildfire Service in partnership with the Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness.
