Bike to Work Week
May 24, 2018
The Fraser Valley Regional District is hosting a Community Ride to Work and Celebration Station on Tuesday, May 29 starting at 7 a.m.
The community ride starts at Sardis Secondary School and will be led by Board Chair and Chilliwack City Councillor Jason Lum. The ride finishes at the regional district office at 45950 Cheam Avenue, where City of Chilliwack firefighters will be on hand at the Celebration Station, serving free breakfast sandwiches to all riders commuting to work or school that day. Additional refreshments will be provided by Produce Gone Wild and Clearbrook Coffee.
Riders will also be able to protect their bikes against theft by registering with 529 Garage, and receive a complimentary bicycle check from Pedalsport. Lots of prizes to be won! Bicyclists not able to join the community ride are still encouraged to pop in to the Celebration Station and join the fun.
